Introduction to Energy
Building science is the study of how various components of the home interact to affect the home’s overall performance. This course will allow the student to gain a basic understanding of the relationships between the building envelope, heating, A/C, insulation, mechanical ventilation, lighting, appliances and other systems of the home.
Communication Skills
This course will help students develop strong communication skills, both written and oral, that they can use to communicate with their employers, co-workers, or employees and perform effectively in every environment.
Leadership Training
In this course the student will learn to leverage proven behaviors and techniques to create their own leadership style for engaging, inspiring, and motivating interactions with others.
Interviewing Skills
Students will learn how to be successful at interviews including how to research companies, exhibiting your best traits to match the qualifications of the job and how to answer those hard to answer interview questions.
